The Big Pot: It's Time to Fund the Resistance

We’ve spent months documenting the decay—the rise of Trump’s second regime under the guidance of the Kremlin, the DOJ’s collapse into contempt, even the CIA director’s toothless posturing, and the endless stream of idiocy and cruelty parading through the halls of power.

But if we want to survive this moment, we need more than truth—we need money. Not blood money. Not billionaire money. Not Super PAC blackmail. We need The Big Pot.

The Resistance Needs to Be Funded—Without Compromise

Democrats, activists, and independent voices have long struggled against a brutal paradox: to win, they need money. But to get that money, they’ve often had to compromise their values, cozying up to the very elites they claim to fight.

That ends now.

We don’t need a billion dollars. We need millions—from small donors, from working people, from those who believe in something bigger than a political brand. We need a pot of money that isn’t owned by Silicon Valley or Wall Street. A pot that belongs to us.

Jake Broe. AOC. Leaders of the New Fundraising Front.

Jake Broe is raising money for Ukraine. AOC still commands a small-donor army. But they’re fragmented. Their power is isolated.

Imagine if these forces—plus others in the movement—joined together to build a nonpartisan, resistance-specific fund:

  • To defend democracy at home.

  • To support Ukraine’s fight abroad.

  • To challenge media corruption and right-wing disinformation.

This is no longer about just winning elections. It’s about protecting the world order from fascism.

No Strings. No Compromise. Just Fire.

The Big Pot must come with one rule: no compromise for cash. No taking fossil fuel money. No private equity slush. No crypto scams. No begging billionaires for table scraps.

This money goes where it’s needed most:

  • Legal defense for whistleblowers and protestors.

  • Independent journalism.

  • Community resilience.

  • Ukraine’s civilian relief and recovery.

  • The next generation of leaders who won’t sell out.

It’s Time to Organize, Not Just Rage

The American resistance has the numbers. It has the voice. Now it needs the means.

The Big Pot is how we build that bridge—from outrage to action, from isolation to coordination.

We don’t have to wait for someone else to save us.

We fund it. We build it. We fight.

Because if we don’t, the world we lose won’t be just political. It’ll be everything.
