This isn’t just about you, Business Basics — though your latest “Trump Bridge” video is a perfect specimen. It’s about every so-called analyst who keeps treating plans, concepts, and staged agreements from professional liars like Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin as if they were real, consequential policy moves. You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, and you need to shut the fuck up before you mislead more people.
Here’s the truth you clearly can’t process: in the short term, the “Trump Bridge” means absolutely fucking nothing. It doesn’t disrupt Russian operations in Ukraine, it doesn’t reduce Moscow’s leverage over its neighbors, and it doesn’t constrain Russian action anywhere in the world. Not today, not tomorrow — and if Putin’s track record is any guide, not in the long term either.
If anything, it’s perfect for him: U.S. companies do the work, take the risk, and then, when the time is right, he can control the asset by forcing it under Russian control, the same way Shell and BP got tossed out of Russia once they’d made themselves useful.
You and your idiotic peers make the same fundamental mistake over and over: you can’t tell the difference between narrative and reality. You watch the stagecraft and think you’re seeing strategy. You take PR optics and repeat them to your audience like scripture. You act like the theater itself is the story. And in doing so, you become part of the propaganda pipeline that Trump and Putin rely on to sell their deceptions.
So please, leave analysis to people who aren’t so easily buffaloed. If you can’t start from the most basic operational question — What, right now, changes on the ground? — then you have no business telling anyone what’s important.
Because when the honest answer is “nothing,” the story isn’t about a corridor or a peace plan. The story is that the deal is theater, and the people pushing it as substance are, at best, too fucking stupid to know they’re being used.
So until you can tell that difference, can you please, for the love of God, shut the fuck up?
