Vitamin R: What Good People Must Stand For Is Truth to Power, Justice for Americans, and Vengeance for Ukrainians

There comes a point in any age of creeping tyranny when good people must decide what they truly stand for. Not what sounds good in a headline. Not what is convenient. Not what is safe. But what is right.
In our time, the moral lines are not blurred. They are sharpened. And there are three pillars that any decent human being must now rally behind if we are to have a future worth defending:
1. Truth to Power
Because power unchallenged becomes poison. And the first move of every fascist regime—whether it wears a suit or waves a flag—is to replace truth with spectacle. Lies are not just falsehoods. They are weapons. They bend reality until cruelty becomes policy, and dissent becomes treason. To speak truth to power is not a slogan—it is resistance. It is necessary. It is survival.
2. Justice for Americans
This is not about slogans or parties. It is about whether this country will belong to all of us—or to the few who buy our laws, hoard our wealth, and corrupt our courts. Justice means housing. Healthcare. Safety from violence—whether it comes from the state, a billionaire, or a militia. If America will endure as a republic, it must deliver on its original promise: liberty and justice for all. Not for sale. Not for some. For all.
3. Vengeance for Ukrainians
Yes, vengeance. Because moral people must remember: justice without consequence is only memory. Russia invaded Ukraine in a war of choice, slaughtered civilians, stole children, and laughed in the face of the world. And while some shrug or grow numb, the blood is still wet. Those responsible must feel the consequences—diplomatically, economically, and in history. Not just for Ukraine’s sake, but for ours. Because the world is watching. Because if fascism walks away unpunished, it walks taller.
These three imperatives are not abstract. They are immediate. They do not belong to one nation, or one ideology—they belong to the decent, the brave, the clear-eyed.
